The Wholesale Distribution segment distributes various consumer products, including cigarettes and tobacco products, candy and other confectionery, beverages, groceries, paper products, health and beauty care products, frozen and chilled products, and institutional food service products. This segment operates 5 distribution centers and serves approximately 4,300 retail outlets, including convenience stores, grocery stores, liquor stores, drug stores, and tobacco shops; and institutional customers comprising restaurants and bars, schools, sports complexes, and wholesalers. It also markets private label lines of snuff, water, candy products, batteries, film, and other products. The Retail Health Food segment operates retail health food stores that carry natural supplements, groceries, health and beauty care products, and other food items. This segment operates 6 retail health food stores in Florida under the name Chamberlin's Market & Cafe; and 8 retail health food stores in the Midwest under the name Akin's Natural Foods Market. The company was founded in 1981 and is based in Omaha, Nebraska.
